Jo Meek's career has spanned 12 years during which she has produced and exec produced programmes for all the BBC's terrestrial UK radio networks, in addition to the BBC World Service, ABC national radio in Sydney and many commercial networks. Jo has won several awards including a Sony, a One World award and several international radio awards.
Polly Thomas has been a freelance radio drama producer for three years now, after ten years at BBC Radio Drama in Manchester and before that running Brouhaha International Street Theatre festival in Liverpool and before that running New Playwrights Trust. She currently works on a range of indie and community radio drama productions, as well as teaching radio drama at Arvon, directing theatre in the North West and acting as a dramaturge to individual writers.
Eloise Whitmore is a Sony Award winning Sound Designer with 12 years experience of creating drama for BBC Radio 3 and 4. Eloise also works with Mind the Gap, The Arvon Foundation and runs radio workshops in schools and universities.
During her several years experience at radio indies in the North West, Gillian has worked on programmes for BBC Radio 2, 4, and 5Live, and has gained several commissions for Radio 4 and the World Service. In addition to Sparklab, Gillian is also a Web Editor at a local station and loves a bit of new technology.
